Privacy Policy
Effective 25/06/2026
This policy explains what information Geohunt (“we,” “us”) collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Geohunt is operated by Geohunt, Inc. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.
We collect only what we need to run Geohunt and provide its features.
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. We use these to identify your account, communicate with you, and let you sign back in.
With your permission, we collect location data from your device to power location-based features in the app. You can grant or revoke this at any time in your device settings, and the app continues to work with location turned off, though location-dependent features will be limited.
If you choose to use features that need them, the app may access photos or other content on your device. This access is only used to provide the feature you asked for — for example, attaching a photo — and we don’t access this content in the background or without your action.
We do not knowingly collect more than this. If a future feature needs additional data, we’ll update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
We use the information above to:
We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising profiling.
The app asks for certain device permissions — such as location, photos — only when a feature needs them. Each request explains why. You can grant, limit, or revoke any permission at any time in your device’s Settings, and we never access these without your consent.
We keep your personal information only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the app. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we’re legally required to retain certain records.
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal information. We honor these rights for all users regardless of location.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your data, and to data portability. You may also withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at ayestudios@gmail.com and we’ll respond within the timeframe the law requires.
You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app’s settings, or by emailing us at ayestudios@gmail.com from your account address. Once deleted, your personal data is removed as described in the retention section above.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Geohunt is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, where data protection laws may differ. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place to protect your information when it is transferred internationally.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of Geohunt after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
